Everyone remembers the Clippers as the lovable losers but don’t forget this team sold for $2 billion not too long ago. This means the Clippers have a very marketable brand despite being only a piece of the Los Angeles Market.
Plus, James has only played for the Cavaliers and Heat. Both those teams have a red tone in their branding. The Clippers have plenty of red in their uniforms and logo.
