Five Things Learned from the Clippers Preseason

Thanks to the basketball Gods, the NBA preseason is over (it’s been over long enough for the season to have started, but simply ignore that).

For the Clippers, the experiment was interesting. There were the typical training camp battles (Joe Ingles, now a member of the Utah Jazz, lost out to third-year guard Jared Cunningham), first looks of several new players and, most importantly, how they’ve been — an will be — implemented into Doc Rivers’s system, plus much more, but at 2-6 there was a lot of bad and some good.

But what have we learned? I look over five quick observations as the Clippers draw closer to their season opener against the Kevin Durant-less Oklahoma City Thunder.
