Clippers officially announce 2014-15 coaching staff

Before media day kicks off, the Los Angeles Clippers. via press release, have confirmed all additions to the coaching staff.

With Alvin Gentry and Tyron Lue in Golden State and Cleveland as associate head coaches and Kevin Eastman promoted to Vice President of Basketball Operations this past summer, Doc Rivers has filled his staff with notable figures.

Here is the coaching staff in full for the 2014-15 season:

• Head Coach: Doc Rivers
• Assistant Head Coaches:
  • Sam Cassell
  • Lawrence Frank
  • Armond Hill
  • Brendan O’Connor
  • Mike Woodson
• Assistant Player Skill Coaches
  • J.P. Clark
  • Dave Severns

Woodson, Frank, and Cassell join O’Connor and Hill whom were apart of last years staff.

“We have an impressive and experienced group of coaches who are excited to get to work,” said Rivers on the coaching staff. “Mike and Lawrence have enjoyed tremendous success as head coaches and Sam is someone who I coached as a player and respected as an assistant with the Wizards.

“I am excited to continue to work with the entire staff as we prepare for the season.”
