3) Tony Parker and Tim Duncan (San Antonio Spurs)

Does this one really even need explaining?

I love Tim Duncan. He’s my favorite player of all time. He’s calm, he’s cool…he’s a killer. He doesn’t use his mouth to do the talking, he uses his rings. A modern day Bill Russell if you will — methodical, menacing, and he doesn’t age either — still going strong nearing 40. He’s played in 3 decades, and has won a ring in all of them.

He and Tony Parker are really a perfect match: Tony is the swift, elusive lay-up machine while Tim is the brick wall, defensive power player ready to block and run the break at any moment. It’ll be sad to see these two go, but with the way they look I’d say we have another 15 years.

I don’t need stats to prove why these guys are perennial champions and bookmark Hall of Famers — just watch them play.
