The release of the NBA schedule has come and gone. There’s really nothing important about the scheduling of 82 games … teams play the same teams every year and the entire process feels routine.
What the release allows fans, writers, and bloggers to do is map out the ‘must-see’ actions and we’re picking out ten games that stick out, so you don’t have to (though you’ll probably do it anyway). The criteria for these games? Fun, hate, rivalries, excitement, etc. There will be a few obvious ones (SAS, OKC) because we all enjoy seeing the best teams face off against each other, but there are some new additions because of what’s occurred in the off-season, ones that likely wouldn’t have made it last year.
