Willie Green

2014-15 Salary: $1.4 million, Non-Guaranteed Contract

By the time the 2014-15 season arrives, Willie Green will be 35 years old and if this season has shown us anything, his best days are surely behind him. Entering his 12th season, Green is what he is: a one-dimensional shooter who provides nothing elsewhere. And when his shot isn’t falling, as it didn’t during the 2013-14 season, he’s borderline useless.

At $1.4 million, you can think of many areas the Thunder could improve in. For instance, Mike Miller of the Memphis Grizzlies made $1.3 million last season. Chris “Birdman” Andersen of the Miami Heat raked the same amount as Miller. D.J. Augustin of the Chicago Bulls made a bit under $600K. Each player made similar or less than Green and provided much more value on the court. If the Clippers can find a player similar to the three aforementioned ones for the salary Green is allotted for, it’s hard to see Green being on the roster come November. (Trisity Miller)

VERDICT: Go!
