I haven’t watched a lot of Washington Wizards basketball, but based on those well-informed on what’s happening with that team it sounds like Randy Wittman won’t have a job for long. He may be given leeway due to the current meshing of Marcin Gortat + the other starters. They’ve looked improved since NeNe returned, but they’re faltering under the expectations to make the playoffs.
And while one up-and-comer struggles, the San Antonio Spurs are up to their usual tricks. You would never know that this team was 7-1 if it was up to the media. But they are. No one keeps their team more prepared on a yearly basis than Greg Popovich. With the Wizards coming off of a loss to the Dallas Mavericks last night, the Spurs will probably keep rolling.
