After many speculation on whether or not Blake Griffin would remain a Clipper, Thursday night brought some great news for LA lippers fans.
LA Clippers fans, you can breathe now. After losing Chris Paul earlier in the week, it looks like the Clippers will hang onto one of their superstars. According to Brad Turner, Blake Griffin reached a deal with the Clippers for the max deal.
Griffin and Clippers close to finalizing a five-year, max deal of $175 million for him to remain with team.

This comes just hours before the beginning of free agency.
Earlier in the week it was announced Griffin planned to meet with the Phoenix Suns on Saturday, those plans appeared to have changed.

In a full-out effort, the Clippers gathered all the troops, in hopes of impressing Griffin and assuring he return. Safe to say, things went very well.

This is huge news for the Clippers. Obviously losing Blake would have been detrimental to the franchise. Now, the Clippers look to build around their 28-year-old All-Star, and make whatever push they can
