The Clippers’ All-Star center will now try out his dance moves. DeAndre Jordan will appear on Spike’s Lip Sync Battle on Feb. 9. He will face off against Modern Family star, Sarah Hyland.

Go DJ! It’s only fair to assume that DeAndre Jordan will go all out for his appearance on Lip Sync Battle this Thursday. The big man has always come across as full of energy, so expect big things from him when he takes stage. A preview of one of his songs has been released:

For those of you unfamiliar with the show, Lip Sync Battle is essentially what the name implies. LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigan host the show and each week two celebrities appear. They both select two songs which they will lip sync to. The winner is determined by audience applause after both performers have finished. Usually, the lip syncing part goes out the window and the performance is key. Most celebrities bring some combination of prop, backup dancers, costume change or guest star. You can check out clips from the show here.

The show manages to pull celebrities from all avenues of entertainment and usually leads to some comedic routines. Former competitors have included: Anna Kendrick, Terry Crews, Mike Tyson, Olivia Munn, Kevin Hart, Seth Rogan, Joseph Gordon Levitt and more.

The Ultimate Guest

Last season, Clippers’ point guard Chris Paul was on Lip Sync Battle. He competed against the one and only Snoop Dogg. DeAndre Jordan and Josh Smith came in support of the Point God. Although CP’s performances of Candy Girl and Gin and Juice were solid, he couldn’t top Snoop going full on Journey and Don’t Stop Believin’. To be fair though, I doubt anyone could possibly top Snoop wearing a mullet wig and jacket with no shirt.

Make sure to check out DeAndre Jordan this week on Spike and the rest of the Clippers action this season.
