January 19-30
January 21 – @ Dallas Mavericks
The Clips head to Dallas to take on Luka Doncic, Kristaps Porzingis and the Mavericks. The Mavs are building towards the future, but don’t quite have all the pieces in place just yet to compete. Clips win.
January 22 – @ Atlanta Hawks
Another back-to-back, this time ending in Atlanta. Going east to west to east isn’t easy, but luckily the Clips should still be able to handle the Hawks. Trae Young isn’t an easy one to stop, but with all the defenders the Clippers can throw at him, the Clips should end this one fairly early and get some much needed rest for their stars late game.
January 24 – @ Miami Heat
After hosting a player only training camp in South Beach this summer, the team returns to take on the Heat. Miami added Jimmy Butler this season which should have them in the playoff chase, but once again, the Clippers’ talent just proves too much.
January 26 – vs. Orlando Magic
Facing the Magic for the second time this month, the results still are the same. Clips win.
January 28 – @ Los Angeles Lakers
Almost a month after their Christmas Day meeting, the Clippers and Lakers face off against each other at Staples after having been gone for most of the month. As we expect for every LA game this season, this one will be a fight. After defeating them on Christmas, the Clippers just don’t have this one and the Lakers take the series lead 2-1.
January 30 – vs. Sacramento Kings
In their first home game since January 16, the Clippers host a young and talented Sacramento Kings team. The Kings have a lot to be excited about, but they still don’t have everything in place. The Clippers close out the year with a win at home.
