Question #11 – Do the Clippers make the playoffs if either of their big two misses more than 40 games?

Not the most positive question, I know. However, as noted in part 1, Clippers fans are nothing if not realistic. They understand that George and Leonard will not play 82 games, nor do they want them to. As noted in question 9, Clipper Nation is predicting between 61-70 games for both stars, but what if one of them misses more?

Fear not, the Clippers still make the playoffs. I mean, it makes sense. The same team, essentially, made the playoffs last season with 82 games missed by both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George so it stands to reason they will do it again if they miss either for a substantial period of time.

Answer #11 – A resounding yes! The Clippers still make the playoffs if either of their big two miss more than 40 games

Question #12 – Are the Clippers still a championship contender if either of their Big two misses more than 40 games?

Forgive the redundancy, but Clippers fans are realistic. They see their team through whatever the opposite of rose colored glasses are. Green colored spectacles? Whatever the opposite is, Clippers fans wear them.

Should the unthinkable happens and either Leonard or George miss more than 40 games then Clippers fans still see them as Championship contenders, but not resoundingly so. If the 40 games missed are regular season then it makes sense that the Clippers would still have a shot at the title assuming whoever was out those 40 games makes it back for playoff time. However, it’s understood that lack of time on the court for any of the big two hurts the ultimate goal of raising the Larry OB at seasons end.

Answer #12 – Yes, the Clippers are still championship contenders even if one of their Big two misses more than 40 games.
