Chris Paul is STILL the Point God

Despite playing a career low 31.5 minutes per game, Paul nearly matched his outputs from last season in scoring, assists, and steals. He also recorded his best rebounding numbers since 2008, grabbing 5 per contest. He’s also #1 overall in real plus-minus rating according to ESPN, followed by LeBron James and Stephen Curry.

Lately though, Paul has been playing out of his mind. The Clippers finished nearly as strong as they started, winning 11 of their last 13. Over that stretch, CP put up averages of 19.5 points and 8.9 assists per game, including a 27-point game against Washington and a 29-point game in Phoenix. He’s also added to his personal highlight reel with plays like these:

The Clippers haven’t necessarily been playing easy games, either. Some notable wins came over Cleveland, Utah, Washington, San Antonio, and Houston.

To make a long story short, it’s been nothin’ but CP3 for weeks now, and that’s the way it’s gotta be.
