Series Prediction

More from Clipperholics

This is obviously going to be a difficult series for the Clippers, and for Mo Speights. Although he’s struggled this season against the Jazz, I feel we’ll see a brand new player come playoff time. As mentioned, he brings that championship experience, something the Utah Jazz lacks drastically. Probably facing limited minutes, Speights most likely won’t put up numbers that’ll look great in the box score. However, I feel he’ll contribute in ways that don’t show up on paper. He’ll take charges, he’ll block shots, he’ll make hustle plays.

If his three-point shot is falling, even better. Desperately needing bench help with the absence of Austin Rivers, Speights will need to step up big time. The Clippers will need his shot to fall, and I think it will.
