We really wish the LA Clippers were the ones to bring that trophy home on Tuesday night.

It didn’t happen, but this now gives us insight into what kind of champions we can bring over to our team, so that we can make sure we get there next year.

The Bucks had a great team, and have a few free agent pieces that caught my eye.

No. 3 Bucks free agent who could be a fit with the LA Clippers: Bryn Forbes

Bryn Forbes now has championship experience, which is of course going to be attractive for a team like the LA Clippers, who has championship aspirations.

Forbes didn’t play in the last three games of the NBA Finals, but he did get some run in the first three.

Forbes didn’t have big numbers this postseason, but he’s a quality two-guard who could provide nice depth on most benches in this league.

The Clippers want shooters, and Forbes can shoot the rock. He had the best shooting year of his career this year, shooting 45.2% from three, and 47.3% from the field as a shooting guard.

He’s a lifetime 44% field goal shooter, and 41.2% three-point shooter. In his last two postseasons, he’s shot 40% from three, and 43.5% from the field.

Forbes is a player who’s started in the postseason (2018-2019 with San Antonio), and has been a primary starter for consecutive years in this league (2018-2019 and 2019-2020 with San Antonio).

He’s averaged 11 points in these last three years, and put up 10 while only playing 19.3 minutes per game this season. He’d be a quality depth add for the Clippers.
