Sure, it’s no MVP award, but Chris Paul is up for the Assist of the Year award. Paul should, in my opinion, easily walk away with this award. His competition this year is a Draymond Green to Steph Curry to Kevin Durant alley-oop, which sounds A LOT better than it actually is. And lets be real, Golden State doesn’t need to win anything else. The other competitor is Nikoli Jokic, whose pass looks to be more luck than skill.

Whether CP3 wins or loses the awards show on TNT tonight should be fun and entertaining. Be sure to check it out.

The NBA Awards show is the first time the NBA has tried to give the end of season awards away in this manner. Drake will host the show tonight and will be giving away awards such as MVP, Defensive Player of the Year and more. Players and celebrities alike should be in attendance and there will be musical performances. Fans were able to vote for smaller awards, such as the aforementioned Assist of the Year. Make sure to tune in tonight in order to see if any Clippers win any other surprise awards.
