The LA Clippers had a weird season. However, there were some good moments. Here are their top games from the 2016-17 season.

Season Recap

The LA Clippers had quite the roller coaster ride of a regular season. In a year full of high highs and low lows, the team went 51-31. They somehow managed to win 50 games (for the 5th year in a row) despite the season being marred with injury.

During their 14-2 run to open the season, the Clippers were arguably the best team in the NBA, on paper and on the floor. But after Thanksgiving (remember the Cowboys game they attended?) they declined fast. And it was only a matter of time before Blake Griffin‘s legs gave up on him again. A lot of the players suffered from minor injuries in December, and the team was at a really low point to end 2016.

For a few weeks the Clippers just tried to keep their heads above water. Just as things started looking up, Chris Paul tore a ligament in his thumb halfway through January. Luckily, the team only had to play 4 games without their two main men. Blake returned soon after and had to take on a lot of responsibility. The Clippers were without their Point God for several weeks, and when he returned things didn’t get much better. The team couldn’t figure things out if the solutions hit them in the face.

Back on track

After some horrible losses and some soul searching, they got back on track. They got back to playing Clipper basketball and closed the season going 11-2. Although they couldn’t quite rekindle what they had during the beginning of the season, they were in good spirits. All the Clippers really needed going into the playoffs was their health.

In a rather mediocre season, there were some very awesome moments. Here are the 7 best and most memorable games.
