The LA Clippers‘ Jamal Crawford is going to have a very busy summer once again with his passion project, the Seattle PRO-AM. The event continues to be huge for the cI love you of Seattle since the NBA left for Oklahoma City at the end of the 08′ season. It brings the community out to enjoy in some summer festivities and gives a great role model for many to look up too.

Crawford even brings some of his NBA brethren to come out and help put on a show. You never know who is coming to the PRO-AM which builds the excitement even more for the community.

Big Changes

Jamal Crawford went on Sports Radio KJR on 950AM in the Seattle area and gave some exciting new information for The Seattle PRO-AM. Crawford is still putting on the ever-growing summer league, but a couple of changes are coming to the event.

He is changing the price from $5 dollars for adults to free just like kids and military have been since its inception. So, everyone will be able to enjoy the tournament and see the amazing talent coming in from all over the country to play.

The really big news and what will make it more exciting is the ability to now have college players take part in the summer league, where in previous years, they were unable to play because it was not sanctioned, but according to the podcast looks like they got past that and will be able to have all talent levels join in on the fun.

The Summer league will run from July 2nd throughout the month of August with surprise guests not slated for any certain day. So you have to make sure to follow Crawford’s twitter and the PRO-AM’s twitter as well. The website is here but has not been updated with this coming summer’s info.
