If you are a LA Clippers fan, here are some tips on how you should watch the Utah Jazz vs Golden State Warriors.

The Utah Jazz just beat the LA Clippers in Game 7 on the Clippers home court. They now have the privilege of getting obliterated by the Golden State Warriors in the conference semis. Planning on watching? Need a reason to watch? Here are six keys to watching the series without smashing your TV and hurling all over the floor.

1. Be glad that it’s not us getting destroyed by the Warriors

It could have been us getting swept by the Warriors, so we may have gotten the easy way out by losing to the Jazz. Our Blake Griffin-less team would have gotten demoralized and emasculated by them every night. We’d be lucky to get one game off of them. And, if you’re still full of spite for Utah, you get to enjoy watching them get their asses handed back to them.

2. Just accept that the Jazz are a good team

The Jazz are an amazing team. They are well constructed and well coached. Even though they really only beat us was because we were Blake-less for half the series, they deserved to win more than us. They earned it. As we saw for ourselves, they are an elite defensive team, just like the Warriors. Even if they do get swept, it’ll be be fun to watch…hopefully. Maybe.

3. Embrace Iso Joe

Every single NBA fan, except for Clippers fans, had the chance to enjoy watching Joe Johnson play against us. It’s hard to like a player when he’s demolishing your team so effortlessly. I encourage all Clippers fans to use this series against the Warriors to appreciate how great Iso Joe is. No Warriors player will be able to contain him either, so it’ll be fun to watch him get buckets against a Warriors team that thinks they have the answers to everything.

4. Continue to root against the Warriors

You could just watch the series solely to root against the Warriors. But you might end up getting disappointed every night. Not recommended.

5. Just pay attention to Gordon Hayward

Forget being  good player, Gordon Hayward is a gorgeous man. It’s hard to appreciate this fact when he’s beating up on your team. When watching this series, just watch him. His hair never messes up (except in Game 6 against us when it got roughed up a bit). Just sit and hope that the camera zooms in on him during a dead ball.

6. Don’t watch it

You could also just not watch the series at all. This option is for people who can’t stand to watch the Warriors play, and definitely don’t want to watch the team that beat the Clippers advance into the next round where we should be. Or, you’re just heartbroken and lost interest in basketball for the time being. Either way, just turn off your TV and slowly walk away.
