As the LA Clippers prepare for their first round match-up with the Utah Jazz, here is how Austin Rivers needs to contribute for a successful series victory.

Staying Healthy

First and foremost, Austin Rivers needs to be 100% healthy. He suffered a minor hamstring injury in a home game against the Washington Wizards on March 29. Fortunately, the injury is not too serious and Rivers will be back sometime in the first round, according to Blake Harris of Clipperholics. Rivers spoke with the LA Times about his injury.

"“The goal was game one of the playoffs, but it’s looking like hopefully mid-first round. In my mind my goal is to be back by the first round, for game one or game too which is ideal.”"

Game 4 is scheduled for Sunday, April 23. Hopefully Austin is ready to go then.
